Examinations and Sam Learning

SAM Learning is a revision website that can help students prepare for SATs, GCSEs and A Level exams. Students can revise topics or answer practise questions as well as receive feedback about how well they are doing. If used regularly, SAM Learning helps boost test and exam grades.

Learning at home ...

Abagail studying at home with SAM.

"My Dad helped me with one KS3 Science paper in SAM Learning. Even though we hadn't covered everything in class because I'm only year 8, I did another exam paper myself and when I marked it myself, I got a level 7. When I did the exam at school, a lot of the questions were very similar and I came top of the year, winning the Science Achievement Award and getting level 7. Using the SAM Learning method really helped me a lot."
Abagail, 11-year old pupil.

Taking responsibility for own learning ...

"SAM Learning is an excellent way of students taking some responsibility for their own learning. The built in system of monitoring their own progress appealed to staff and students. Our SATs results have improved this year by 10.46%! and although there is no direct evidence to relate this to SAM Learning, recent research suggests that it could be one factor in raising achievement!"
