We are pleased to provide parents the opportunity to email staff at the school. We aim to check these 'master' accounts at least once a day and respond once a satisfactory answer can be provided.

Please give members of staff time to research an answer to a question. We suggest, if you have not heard anything in reply to an email within 3 working days that you either:

• send a follow up email
• telephone the main school number and leave a voicemail message for the member of staff*

All members of staff have large teaching commitments. Most staff gain only 4 hours in any one week to deal with marking, administration and answering telephone queries. The rest of the time is spent teaching students.

These email accounts are NOT directed to any one individual staff member. They are checked by an administrative assistant and forwarded via internal email. Members of staff will choose which is the best form of response and may choose to reply using email or a telephone call.

*Please note that not all staff have voicemail. Reception will be happy to take a written message and place it into the pigeon hole for the required member of staff. These pigeon holes are checked daily by the members of staff.

If you gain, by return email, a bounced message telling you there has been a problem - please contact the school and inform them such that we can investigate.
